TessAge: 35-445 Stars Out Of 5Finally, a christian book for boys!April 15, 2014TessAge: 35-44Quality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5It was hard to find a book that covered all the personal things a boy should know about his changing body that had godly principles in it. This book covered everything from hygiene to growth rate and how God designed each person unique but special. As a mom, it was a great guide for a delicate subject, presented in a straightforward "I understand" way.
Jack PikeMiddletown, CTAge: 55-65Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5Outstanding BookJanuary 31, 2014Jack PikeMiddletown, CTAge: 55-65Gender: maleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is a much needed addition to the parental library when children begin asking many questions about their bodies and the pressures of their peers - or even when they don't and advice is needed. I'm not aware of any book prior to this that has been willing to address some of these questions by presenting sound physiological and spiritual explanations. Then Dr. Larimore explores the physical, emotional and spiritual implications by presenting a Biblical based point of view.
Every Christian parent and youth pastor should own a copy of this book and be willing to disseminate it frequently.
RockinRAge: Over 65Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5Don't miss out on this great book for preteen boysMarch 23, 2012RockinRAge: Over 65Gender: MaleMy husband and I each read through this book and thought it was great! He wishes he would have had this resource when he was a young guy. Get this book so your adolescent son can have biblical, straight forward answers to so many questions he has about the changes going on in his body and his mind. Grandfathers, buy this book for your son or son-in-law to give to your grandson, and encourage them to work through it together. I love the format, too. Very easy to read and broken up into just a few pages for each Q & A, which gets right to the heart of the matter and speaks a boy's language. I really can't say enough about this book and thank God that Dr. Larimore wrote it. And what a bargain for under $8.00!
