This was given as a birthday gift, along with several other books in the New Daily Study Bible series, and they have all been well received. I think I'm told daily how great they are and how much each book has helped/is helping to clarify different aspects of the bible books they relate to.

I truly thank God for giving me access to such wonderful ways to read His word and about His word as this series (& Christianbook.com) offers.

And these books really do make excellent gifts.

Craigie's two volumes on the minor-prophets are a pleasing mixture of scholarly and devotional insight. They are well written. Craigie adopts an intelligently conservative stance. These volumes and are very helpful in lesson preparation as well. Not surprisingly, detailed footnotes and in depth interaction with scholarly opinion are rare in this series. Nonetheless, this is a very helpful commentary.
