Do you enviously watch others enjoy the things you've always wanted for yourself? In Why Her?, Koziarz unpacks the biblical story of Rachel and Leah along with her own experiences with failed dreams, dashed hopes, and paralyzing comparisons. She shares six biblical truths that can settle you in a satisfying place where God's acceptance of you is all that matters.
Note: Based on 2 Corinthians 10: 12 (NIV) "We do not dare to classify or compare ourselves with some who commend themselves. When they measure themselves by themselves and compare themselves with themselves, they are not wise."

Through two striving sisters in the Bible, Nicki uncovered six truths we need to hear when trying to measure up leaves you falling behind.
These six truths will help you:
· Stop staring at her success and find satisfaction in yours.
· Find contentment with your life without being complacent in who you are becoming.
· Gain godly wisdom to answer the Why Her silent question of your soul.
Someone will always be ahead. But that doesnt mean youre behind. Because Truth, like always, will set us free. And free women dont have to measure up to anybody. Not even her.
Nay DeniseNJAge: 25-34Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Beautifully WrittenApril 18, 2018Nay DeniseNJAge: 25-34Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have never studied Rachel and Leah in-depth, so I was excited to read this book and really dive into these two sisters from the book of Genesis. This books dives deeps into how we, as women, compare ourselves and ask "why her" and not me? Women tend to look at everything as a competition when it is not. I enjoyed this book because it showed me some of my own flaws in how I compare myself to others and try to deny that I do.
This book is beautifully written, biblically sound and relate-able to all women. I love this book and think I want to grab the study guide that goes with it for an even deeper understanding. This would be a great book for a book club!
TruthWarrior5 Stars Out Of 5Why Her or If Only I ...April 9, 2018TruthWarriorQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0When I first read the title, I thought nah, I'm older and past the comparison trap that occurs when we are either young girls/women or young moms. But as I was reading, I realized that it wasn't so much a question of "Why Her" but more of "If only I ... had that much money, that house, that relationship with God"! This Biblically-based book on Rachel and Leah is an eye opener and very freeing!

Angeka5 Stars Out Of 5Want to be free from the battle of comparison?March 7, 2018AngekaQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I have struggled with comparison for most of my life. Feeling like Im not good enough. If this has been your struggle I highly recommend this book. I love how it felt like Nicki was speaking just to me as I read Why Her? It was like we were just having a conversation between friends. Nicki shares her own struggles with comparison and then provides the truths we need in order to have victory over the comparison battle. A couple of my favorite quotes are:
We often lose who we are while trying to become someone we arent.
Comparison brings out our competitive streak, which eats away at our contentment, which then starts to destroy our confidence, until were fighting to keep up with an unrealistic standard.
I received an advanced copy of Why Her? from the publisher in exchange for my honest opinion.
