A well written and insightful devotional, filled with a year's worth of Biblical truths.

I liked the format of this book and thought that it was easy to read. Each daily entry was formatted the same way, starting with a portion of scripture in the section "My Bible Reading." The "Truth is" sections were filled with everyday, meaningful, life applications. I loved the "My Prayer" sections, as each one took lessons from the life applications and zoned them into a focused prayer for each day.

This book was written for teens, but many others would benefit from reading it.

My favorite entries were focused on being thankful and grateful. This book was filled with so many good truths to think about and focus on. Read it and be blessed.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

#Truth: 365 Devotions for Teen Connecting Life and Faith, written by Josh McDowell was an interesting read.

I gave this book to my own teen to read it and asked for a review from their perspective. We usually use the King James Version and would have preferred KJV. My teen thought it was pretty good. Seemed to be encouraged by it. I thought it was well-written and that given to teens could encourage their life and faith in the Lord.

I was given a copy of this book by the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.

This is a very down-to-earth devotional for teenagers, but any adult would enjoy it too. Simple layout, easy to read, meaningful but not too deep. I'm going to pass this along to my grandson. He will enjoy it, I'm sure. ..... I received a complimentary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was under no obligation to post a review.

I was very impressed with this book of 365 days of devotionals for teens. I co-lead a small group of about 20 8th grade girls at my church and Im always looking for a resource to help these impressionable young girls learn more about God and his word in words that they can understand.

Sometimes the Bible is hard to understand and relate to no matter the version and this book helps put the Bible in words and situations that these girls can use to relate to their own lives. The daily devotionals deal with life situations that teens face every day and gives them the Bible verses and teachings to help them deal with things like putting God before everything else, their choice of friends, peer pressure, and a host of other things that teens now face daily.

Even though I only see these girls one to two days a week, we always start out each get together with a couple of devotionals from the book that I have pre-selected that go with the current teachings from the youth pastor. They always lead to great conversation and practical discussions on navigating life as a teen.

I am very impressed with the devotional, #truth, by Josh McDowell. This book with 365 devotions for teens does exactly what it says on the front cover, it connects life and faith.

Each devotional consists of three main parts: My Bible Reading which has a scripture and short commentary, Truth is which concisely states the truth from that scripture, and My Prayer, which offers a short prayer relating to the devotion.

The book is laid out month by month, in such a way that will lead teens from the beginning of a walk with God to a deeper relationship. Each devotion is one page, easily read after getting dressed for the day or before going to bed at night.

I highly recommend this book for teens It is an excellent Christmas gift for teenaged grandchildren!
