Sara And Jonathan Summers3 Stars Out Of 5A Bit CheesyMay 7, 2012Sara And Jonathan SummersQuality: 3Value: 3Meets Expectations: 2I bought this for my High School Sunday School class. It is a good concept and Kurt Johnston/Katie Edwards are engaging enouugh. However, the production quality is low i.e. same set, same clothing for all five videos. The cheesy part was that in each video a third person comes on to the set and does repetitive, annoying things - such as mimicking the speaker. It did serve a purpuse, the annoyance was related to the topic. But they let it go on and on and on to the point of being a distraction. A junior high kid could get the point in ten seconds, but the video has the extra guy on there for minutes. Watching an adult male struggling with their foot "stuck in a trash can" while trying to absorb what a speaker is saying is a distraction. The criticism from my class of high schoolers is a bit harsher. All that being said, the content is good. I just wish the speakers would have taken time to at least change shirts between the five lessons, and that the director would have choosen to make a point with the extra character and then move on.
