lkbucci5 Stars Out Of 5Best Book On Suffering There Is!January 11, 2015lkbucciQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is by far the best I have ever read about trials, suffering and grief. Jerry Bridges teaches biblically from his own place of suffering and ministers to other sufferers in a gentle, loving and practical way. My husband and I led study groups using this book for many years, and were ministered to immeasurably ourselves by it in the loss of our son. As a certified biblical counselor, I recommend this book to every sufferer with whom I come in contact as a wonderful means of ministering God's sovereignty to hurting hearts.
Carol5 Stars Out Of 5Trusting GodOctober 23, 2014CarolQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I purchase books for each of my small group members. We are close to half way through it and each member has said it has impacted them greatly. This book touches all aspects of our lives, drawing our attention that we tend to be dependent on ourselves too often, and shows us the need to trust in God. This is a great book.
