Dr. Clive A. Porter, Sr. is a Pastor, Civic Leader, Author, Conference Speaker, Teacher and Counselor. Born in Hanover, Jamaica, graduated Bethel Bible College, Mandeville, Jamaica. He was and conferred an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from International Theological Seminary of California (Year). His call to ministry began in 1977 as an Evangelist. From 1982 to 1990, he pastored six churches in Jamaica before migrating to the United States. In 1990, he founded Ebenezer New Testament Church of God, St. Petersburg, FL. In July of 2002, he was appointed to and currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Christian Community Church of God, where his aim is to develop a multi-cultural Church: "Interacting For Fellowship-Mixing To Become One." He aims to "Build Strong Churches by Strengthening Families." Under Dr. Porter's leadership, the church has experienced rapid growth and has become a worldwide ministry. Dr. Porter serves as Regional Overseer for the Southern District Churches of God, Florida-Cocoa Office; and previously as a member of the State Executive Council of Bishops for the Church of God; and as a board member of the International Department of Evangelism for the Church of God International Offices in Cleveland, Tennessee. Additionally, he served as Vice President of the St. Petersburg International Folk Fair Society and Chairman of Pauline Salmon Preparatory School. Dr. Porter is the founder and president of Clive A. Porter Ministries and Lifeline Training Institute with both national and International programs. He is a firm believer in developing leaders in the hopes that they in turn will develop the world. A prolific teacher, preacher and conference speaker, Dr. Porter has impacted lives in Europe, Africa, Canada, the Caribbean and the United States. He is married to Sharon Porter, with three children: Daniel, Clive Jr. and Shantone .
