Series: A Breed Apart
Ronie Kendig is an award-winning, bestselling author who grew up an Army brat. After twenty-plus years of marriage, she and her hunky hero husband have a full life with their four children, a Maltese Menace, and a retired military working dog in Northern Virginia. Author and speaker, Ronie loves engaging readers through her Rapid-Fire Fiction. "Dangerous mysteries drive this moving and compelling military dog story. So vivid and contemporary that it could be happening here and now!"
- Kathy Tyers, author of the Firebird series
"Dodge bullets, cling by your fingertips to an icy cliff—then fall heart first for a wounded hero and his incredible military war dog. You won't sleep, but please remember to breathe. Ronie Kendig's rapid-fire fiction: Oorah!"
—Candace Calvert, author of the Mercy Hospital series and Trauma Plan
Trinity is a poignant and contemporary novel overflowing with suspense, mystery, and danger. Ronie Kendig returns as strong as ever with her new series, A Breed Apart. The author brings to life the worries, fears, and the sense of loss so many service members experience after an injury while serving in the line of duty. Heath’s journey to rediscovery is one of heart-wrenching emotions with a hope-filled conclusion.
Strong writing and vivid descriptions place the reader in the middle of the action. Within a span of a few minutes, I went from choking up, to laughing out loud, to feeling like my heart would leap out of my chest, and then the cycle would begin again as I experienced the characters’ stories as though they were my own. With so many men and women currently serving overseas in the military, Trinity felt like a window through which I could peer into their world and catch a small glimpse of the struggles, fears, and hopes they face every day. I strongly recommend this novel to suspense fans.
There are some books where, when you read the last page, you just have to sit back and take a deep breath to all the awesome stuff that happened in the story sink in...before picking the book back up and rereading the most amazing parts. That's how it was with this book! Besides developing believable characters, the author knows how to spin a grand adventure. Can't wait for more in this series.
