Mona5 Stars Out Of 5Love this movie!September 26, 2016MonaQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I bought this for my Sunday school class as a special summer treat. (1st thru 5th grade). First we read the book over several weeks, then watched the movie. From the book, the students could understand more of the struggle the characters went through, and how each came to understand their need for the Lord. The movie depicts this well, but to really understand how each is feeling, I recommend at least reading parts of the book. Even though this is an old movie, my students enjoyed it, and the acting is good. Color and quality weren't up to modern standards, but it was very well done for its time.

I rated it 4 stars just because the acting in it is not the greatest. The movie is old but the message of love and forgiveness is simply wonderful. Just be prepared if you buy it that the acting is poor but the story is fantastic.

I loved that it was filmed in the Alps & back in time, but it really showed how even though someone can do something wrong to someone it is always best to tell the true & that by doing the right thing you can be forgiven by God & then hopefully by the person you hurt. I also loved that this story was filmed in such a beautiful place & that it had a happy ending! I had taped it, my tape had worn out & I was thrilled to see you had it on DVD. Thanks!

Children must be taught at a young age for being unforgiving has long lasting effects that can scar permenently! Bitterness also takes root if not dealt with!
