RondaCalgary, ABAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5We love this book!January 23, 2012RondaCalgary, ABAge: 35-44Gender: femaleThis review was written for Treasures of the Snow, Revised.I had read this as a kid, and loved it. Now we are reading it to our 4 and 5 year old boys. It would be a good book for both boys or girls, as one main character is a young boy and one a young girl. My husband is really raving about it too. It is really full of adventure and situations a kid can understand. It has such a good message, about how Jesus is knocking on the door of our hearts and it is up to us to let him in. It is about forgiveness, friendship, love, hard times.... all put in a really simple and gripping way. Our 5 year old boy is already talking about how Annette opened the door of her heart, and says one day he will do it to. Very special!

Susan Lawlor5 Stars Out Of 5April 9, 2010Susan LawlorThis review was written for Treasures of the Snow, Revised.Used this and "The Secret Garden" as sort of a devotional booklet when my children were young to talk of spiritual application. I recently had my daughter tell me that she would like to find this book to share with her children (my grandchildren) as an addition to family devotional time. CBD still had it.

Ruth Pichaj5 Stars Out Of 5May 12, 2008Ruth PichajThis review was written for Treasures of the Snow, Revised. It has been said that one of the great pleasure of books is in re-reading them, and I would heartily agree when it comes to "Treasures of the Snow." I read this several times as a girl, and now just finished reading it to my 9-year old. My daughter loved it, and I enjoyed it, again! A gripping story, with the gospel and many spiritual truths woven in. I highly recommend it!
