Treasured Tales of Homeschool: An Inspiration for Parents is a collection of stories about the author's years homeschooling her two sons, both of whom grew up to be outstanding citizens. The introduction links a decline in America's Christian Worldview to many of the current problems students face today in public/private schools and shows how homeschooling provides an opportunity to instil a Christian worldview and encourage good socialization. Short, easy-to-read chapters provide a look into the author's world and the "small moments" and "ordinary days" that illustrate how the hand of God led their lives. 73 pages, softcover.

Tell us a little about yourself. I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst where I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. Upon graduating, I taught briefly in a public school. I went on to graduate from Rhode Island School of Photography and taught there for several years while working as a partner in my family’s photography studio. I received my Masters’ Degree in Theology from the Vision International University. I taught/preached in a local church and headed their Woman’s Bible Group. My husband and I are elders in our Church and have Bible studies in our home. I have other writings published in Guidepost Magazine/Mysterious Ways and Corsi Nation.
What was your motivation behind this project? My parent's love and support always inspired me to "expand my territory." I dedicated the book to them and to our family because they were wonderful role models. So when we began our journey of homeschooling, I felt the Lord leading me to begin writing. As I wrote down my thoughts, prayers and the events of the day I noticed how the Lord was leading us to give our boys the support they needed for their destinies just like my parents did for me and my siblings. So many wonderful things happened that I wanted to record it for my family. It's a family album of sorts.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? After reading our stories, I hope families find the divine in their ordinary days of life, too. I hope they will hold dear the golden nuggets of messages of love that God sends. My prayer is that they will be inspired and see each day filled with opportunities to know our Lord better so that the atmosphere of their home will be infused with His presence. I hope folks see how important being parents as teachers can be and what they bring to that process is divinely planned. I also want them to be aware of the problems in public schools and colleges.
Who are your influences, sources of inspiration or favorite authors / artists? I have quite a few favorite authors but to name a few; Hemingway, Harper Lee, Pearl Buck, and EW Kenyon. My favorite artist is my sister Joanne who painted the cover of the book and Monet. Joanne is a fine artist and inspires creativity just being with her.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Sometimes I didn't even realize what the Lord was doing until I wrote it down in my journal . I journaled for years while my family homeschooled and now that I've put it together, I'm amazed of what God has accomplished in our lives!
