ashlad4 Stars Out Of 5excellent resource; could be betterMay 2, 2017ashladQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 3This is my first experience with Homeschool in the Woods. When I first received the product and looked through it, I was a little let down. I was expecting it to have more "meat." Almost everything is in black and white, which isnt a big deal, but some color would be nice!! The lesson plan are almost completely consumed with lapbooking. So, if you like lapbooking, you will love this! It is not a stand alone curruculum. We are going to be reading a lot of living books, but I was hoping the lessons would be more in depth. I find that I will have to add quite a bit to "fill in the gaps" because the history would seem choppy otherwise. That being said, this is a great supplemental product. You will go through a TON of paper and ink printing all of this. So, just be aware that you are not purchasing a complete curruculum, and the cost goes way up when you include the ink and paper. You might be able to buy ready made "notebooks" cheaper and more colorful.
