Paul Fromberg is the rector of St. Gregory of Nyssa Episcopal Church in San Francisco. He also serves as president of the Board of The Food Pantry at St. Gregorys. From 1987 2004 he served churches in Houston, Texas. In addition to his congregational ministry, Paul teaches at the Church Divinity School of the Pacific, and for the Diocese of Minnesota. In addition to teaching students preparing for ministry, Paul is a consultant with congregations across the country, retreat leader and mentor. He is an active participant in emergent church conversation groups across the US. Along with his colleague Sara Miles, Paul has served as a consultant for House for All Sinners and Saints in Denver, where Nadia Bolz-Weber is pastor. He is a speaker and liturgist for the Wild Goose Festival and the Greenbelt Festival in Great Britain. Paul is a contributor to liturgical materials for the Episcopal Church, including the recently published (2014) Daily Prayer for All Seasons, a resource created to help people weave prayer into the fabric of daily life, and assisted in developing the rites for blessing same-sex unions for the Episcopal Church, published in I Will Bless You and You Will Be a Blessing (2012). Paul serves the Episcopal Church as a deputy to the triennial General Convention, where he serves as a member of the Committee on Prayer Book, Liturgy, and Music. He is married to Grant Martin and lives in San Francisco with their dog, Frankie.
