Book I covers the three acts of the mind involved in logic: simple apprehension, judgment and deductive inference. In this book, we continue the study of deductive inference with the treatment of figure and mood in simple syllogisms, complex syllogisms and hypothetical reasoning. We also have one chapter on the oblique syllogism, which is a variant of the traditional categorical syllogism. Like the first book, daily exercise sets are given at the end of each chapter to ensure comprehension and mastery of the material at every level.

Debora Williams5 Stars Out Of 5Good MaterialNovember 19, 2010Debora WilliamsQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5We have not used this book yet, but it is a continuation of the Traditional Logic Book 1 that we are now using. From my observation of this book it will continue to be good source for teaching this very difficult subject. My son does not "like" Logic but with this material he can understand the concept of it. I am very pleased with this publication.
