AlTork1 Stars Out Of 5The Traditons vs New IdeasMarch 3, 2019AlTorkQuality: 5Value: 1Meets Expectations: 3This review was written for Tozer on Worship and Entertainment. There has always been a resistance within the Church to new methods and new styles. Some of the resistance is warranted, but reaching people with the gospel is the mission, not preserving tradition. What we now know, many years later, is that thousands of believers have been and continue to be brought to faith through "religious movies.". And we also know that, despite dire warnings, preachers can actually preach the truth while wearing jeans and t-shirts. The struggle between traditional and contemporary has gone on for years and will until Christ returns.

GerhardThoen5 Stars Out Of 5July 6, 2010GerhardThoenThis review was written for Tozer on Worship and Entertainment.Tozer is always excellent. He forsaw what we have today in the modern "church", just a social club as in Laodicia. Fun and games, 7-11 verses, pomposity from the pulpits. He accuratly describes it all.

Michael Brown5 Stars Out Of 5February 13, 2010Michael BrownThis review was written for Tozer on Worship and Entertainment. This book was a really good read. There are so many people who look to be entertained when going to church instead of looking forward to learning about our Lord Jesus Christ. The book was very interesting and I am sure one of few that stresses the importance of spirit-led and spirit-filled worship.
