Tell us a little about yourself. Angela Burnette Smith serves alongside her husband, Bishop Phillip W. Smith as Co-Pastor/Teacher and worship leader at Greater Cary Christian Fellowship in the Raleigh/Cary, NC area. She is a mother of two and also serves as a practicing Physician Assistant in a local prenatal practice.
What was your motivation behind this project? To parallel many lessons we can glean from our pets that teach inspiring lessons which can deepen our spiritual walk.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? Whether you are an animal lover or desire deeper spiritual insights through an out of the box approach, this devotional is a must read. Experience Gods sovereignty as He uses a least likely messenger to teach practical life lessons without speaking a word.
Anything else you'd like readers / listeners to know: Jesus often spoke in parables throughout scripture. He used applicable, relevant stories to teach important lessons to his audiences. In these highly technologically driven times, we can be easily convinced that the best lessons come from audible sources. However, in His sovereignty sometimes God speaks best through the silence.
