Publisher's Description

How Much is One Soul Worth to God?

Lord, help me to really make a difference.

That was the very average prayer Pastor Christ Schimel prayed wile walking into his California church. Little did he know that God would take him up on his offer.

When an irate and possibly insane man showed up at Pastor Schimel's church on what would have other wise been a normal afternoon, the pastor felt his anxiety level rising and his time slipping away. When the mysterious man continued to visit and as the pastor became increasingly involved in the desperate man's life—it became crystal clear that God placed the man in Pastor Schimel's life for a reason.

Submitting to Help One Lost Soul, You Can Grow to Teach the Masses.

An insightful and compelling read, Touch One will change a person’s perspective on church growth and ministering to the lost. It is a soul-searching story for readers who care about helping individuals and want to make a difference in the lives of others. The author brings encouragement and direction to reevaluate man’s ideals concerning ministry.

In his book "Touch One" Pastor Chris Schimel provides the reader with insight, understanding, and encouragement. He ministers healing for the hurting, guidance for the seeking, and counsel for the confused. The story focuses on a troubled police detective who insists on anonymity who is desperately seeking direction.

I appreciate Chris' willingness to be vulnerable as he candidly shares from his new perspectives in church growth, ministry, motivation, and personal spiritual growth.

Schimel has a unique writing style that ministers to the sincere seeker, challenges Christ's followers, and to those who may be discouraged in their calling. His use of the elements of the story in his writing quickly engages the reader and motivates a positive response.

"Touch One" draws from real life, is authentic and Inspiring. A good read.
