adrienne4 Stars Out Of 5July 12, 2009adrienneI had read the reviews for this book and was a little bit skeptical at first because the comments talked about it being a bit much as far as sex goes. But my thoughts were: it was Melody Carlson, how bad could it be. Now that I've read the book I get what the reviewers meant. This is a book that had a good message in the end, but the beginning was a bit gross and the main character's friends came out as being a little bit skanky. With that, take warning. If you don't like to read about sex or those issues then I would not recommend this book. It is informative though, as far as the consequences of sex, which is realistic. I would recommend this for an older teen.
Amanda5 Stars Out Of 5June 4, 2009AmandaMelody is an author that can hit a hard topic head out and not be to "preachy". This is a serious topic and it needs to be addressed in a godly way with every teenage girl. It is a great book! :)
Victoria5 Stars Out Of 5May 24, 2009VictoriaWhat the other reviewers are saying about this book being overly graphic, is ridiculous. Sure, if you're sheltered and don't really know very much it would be a little confusing and surprising at times. But in no way is this book overly graphic. You see more watching TV. Seriously, and I wouldn't recommend you watching it on TV. That's awful! But this book is great. I really enjoyed it, and like all of Melody Carlson's books, the girl comes to God in the end and its great. Great book, I'd read it again.

Anna5 Stars Out Of 5June 2, 2008AnnaThis book was great. The fact that it is considered "too detailed" surprises me. It was open and honest, revealing no more than what teens are confronted with in their daily lives. I think every teenager should read this book, and actually emphasize the importance of younger teens reading it, BEFORE they are exposed to it in a setting where they do not know what to do.
