Publisher's Description

Based on the bestselling Too Busy Not To Pray, the new Too Busy Not To Pray Journal is a prayer journal specifically designed to help Christians with active lifestyles slow down and create space for quiet times with God. The journal helps readers put into practice Hybels's time-tested principles for prayer journaling. Special sections parallel material from chapters from the book, and it includes plenty of space for recording prayer requests and answers to prayer.

This prayer journal can be used independently of the book or DVD. So, if you are just looking for something to bring some freshness to your prayer life, you could use this as a standalone product.

I purchased the DVD, and I had an older copy of the book that this goes with journal.

Each chapter introduces a thought about prayer, questions to consider, and a place to put your prayers that goes with that topic. Each chapter has several sections to it.

It does not have lots of writing space. So, if you write longer prayers, you might want to use the journal as a starting off point and put your prayers in a different journal. I often do this so I can use a journal more than once. As you go through different events in your life, you will find that the same thing you prayed about once will "hit" you a different way later - similar to how the Bible works.

Im just about done with this, and I have to tell you-it has taught me so much about Prayer-i never knew and even thought about. The power of prayer is real. And sometimes when our prayers arent answered, its just Gods way of saying, not now-or revise your prayer and see what happens!:) Im learning that with specific prayers and praises im not just giving our Father a "laundry list" and expecting him to "grant" my wishes. He's eager and willing to answer my prayers when my heart is gracious and expectant to receive faithfully! And that He wants you to come to him and just talk. Talk about whats on your heart. Pray specificly and great things will happen. It's already begun in my life!
