This book is similar to Jesus Calling but all the devotionals are based on HOPE. And that is something I dearly long for in my life. It is written in first person, as if Jesus is speaking directly to me. It touches my heart and gives me hope every day. It draws me closer to Jesus. One thing I like about this version over Jesus Calling is that all the scriptures are written out on the facing page, so you don't have to look them up in your Bible.

This book came at a low time in my life. It was so uplifting! The words jumped out of the pages and seemed like they were directed towards me and me alone. And as I write this, I know they were.

I bought these on sale as a gift for our bible study groups. So many were going through tough times so I ordered them for inspiration and hope. Everyone liked them. I had already given them Jesus Calling devotionals at another time.

If you're going through a tough time right now, this is a wonderful and inspiring devotional. It is very inspirational and uplifting, it is written in the same style as Jesus Calling, offering a unique viewpoint as if Jesus were talking to you!

I highly recommend Jesus Today. It is somewhat different from Jesus Calling. If you enjoyed Jesus Calling you will also enjoy Jesus Today.
