Sarah Young brings her gift to life on the pages of the Jesus Calling series. To write words that bring hope, encouragement and sits the reader down for a conversation with Jesus Christ is a blessing from the Holy Spirit in her. I have never found anything written by Sarah to be contrary to the Holy Bible or the Holy Spirit in me.

I have purchased many of this book as well as the Jesus Calling, Jesus Lives and Dear Jesus to give away as the Lord leads.

On more than one occassion I have been told that the books I gave were life changing in a much needed positive way. One expressed how their life was saved. Thank You Jesus. Thank you Sarah Young.

Be VERY careful if you read this devotion. Jesus speaks to us through His word and not that of a human author. Sarah Young is writing in the first person. Seriously? If you want true comfort, read God's Word and not this book.

This book is a "must have" addition to my daily devotions and a perfect gift for anyone who is going thru a difficult time of depression, grief, etc.

Please ignore narrow, religious thinking on the subject of how the Lord speaks to us. He still calls to us through the Holy Spirit. He speaks to us through the Word, but also directly...as He has done (and continues to do).

Written under very trying times and dedicated to her nephew who died from brain cancer around age 33, this book is a real jewel! I am going to buy more copies to give as gifts. Excellent choice for anyone going through hard times and in need of hope and encouragement! A true blessing of a book solidly founded on scriptures from The Holy Bible. I love this book. Praise God for helping her write this book, and for helping me find it.
