To be the First One is a legendary story of lives of two prominent figures in Armenian history: St. Gregory the Illuminator and King Tiridates III. These two remarkable personalities were destined to meet and give a new beginning to the Armenian nation-Christianity. This is a compelling story of struggle for independence and survival in IV century AD when two major powers: Roman Empire and Parthian Empire had fought feverishly to establish their influence in Armenia. And Armenia chose to become the First Christian nation by adopting Christianity as a state religion in 301 A.D. This story was written for children and adults.
