This book is excellent for anyone who is new to saving money and having to live frugally. You will glean so many ideas and so much inspiration (even if you aren't a stay at home mom). Many of these ways are how we've been able to live on a tight budget over the years and be able to save and pay off our house. Love that there is also a chapter on increasing your income. I received a digital copy of this book to review. All opinions are my own.

I was thrilled to be invited to be on the launch team for this book. I received an advance copy for my fair and honest review. Erin Odom's book gives wonderful advice and tips on how you can stay home with your kids. From ideas to save money to making money, this book covers it all, the conversational nature of the book makes it one worth reading. The practical advice and tone make you feel as though you are sitting around a table with Erin listening to her wonderful advice. It is the perfect follow-up to her book "More Than Just Making It". This book is definitely worth reading.

I was really excited to be on the launch team for this book - I received an advance copy. I really enjoyed Erin's first book (More Than Just Making It), and she brings the same spirit of encouragement and inspiration to this book.

If you're looking to stay home with your kids, but you're not sure if it fits in the budget or how to make it work, Erin has 100 tips and tricks with actual specific steps you can take. Some are little, like making your own cleaners. Some are big, like features to look for in a house, or how to shop for health insurance. But whether you've been a stay-at-home mom for years, or you're just starting out, something in this book will be helpful for you.

How I wish I had a copy of this book when my three were little, back when I seriously wondered how we could ever pay for three kids to go to preschool. (That's six years of preschool tuition!) Author Erin Odom is never bossy. She isn't saying that staying home with your kids is the only way. However, if you are a mom who would love to stay home but don't know if it is a real possibility, give this book a shot. Erin will gently encourage you to look at your home and expenses in a slightly different and creative way that could very well make all the difference in the world and allow you to stay home with your kids. I loved the practical moneysaving tips found within the pages of this book, from tips on how to inexpensively cook healthy meals, to planning a vacation that won't break the bank, to tips on purchasing a home and just about everything in between. I highly recommend this book for any mom who wonders if staying home with her kids could actually happen. But really, I can't think of a family that wouldn't benefit from Erin's wisdom wether or not the mom is able to stay home or works outside of the home. It's all good.
