Perfect book for ANY mom looking for money saving tips! It's important to know that this is not a novel; it's a book full of tips AND action steps for each tip, which I LOVE! Erin's book covers so many topics, and each tip within those topics has practical action steps, which means you aren't left wondering how to go about implementing her ideas, and they're great for those of us who are task oriented;) I am a pretty thrifty mom, but I found many ideas that I hadn't even considered. In addition, she includes websites and resources for FREE!

The book is just beautiful, perfect for gift-giving, with a pretty little ribbon bookmark. It's a smaller size and looks nice left out on your table.

I also highly recommend that you read Erin's novel, More Than Just Making It, which is the story behind these tips; they're the perfect pair!

Disclaimer: I was on the launch team and received a temporary ebook for review; however, this review is my opinion.

Though I am generally a very thrifty person and pride myself on being able to do well with a budget, but after our income was cut in half a little over a year ago, I have been on the lookout for even more ways to cut back and help keep our family afloat. I had hoped that this book would provide me with just the inspiration I'd been needing.

Now I must admit, many of these were tricks that I'd already been putting into use. I've been married for 11+ years now and have been a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom for all of those years, so I'd picked up a lot along the way. Still, there were many that I hadn't yet thought of. It featured ways to cut down on spending, ways to eat well on a budget, ways to save on necessary expenses, ways to save on the fun stuff so you can still have fun experiences, even ways to create more income on the side. Want to save by creating your own household products? There's even a section for that!

If you're new to budget living, this book is going to be a MUST. There truly are so many tips to consider incorporating into you life that are easy to do! Even for those experienced thrifty living people can learn something new too!

If you're wanting to start or continue staying home with your kids, or even if you just want to stretch your two income family budget to save towards buying a house, college funds, whatever... this book is a great read.

When I first wanted to stay home with my son 3 years ago, my husband told me to find a way to make it work financially. I did a lot of research on ways to frugally live on one income. and I implemented many of these tips and tricks to make it a possibility for me and my family. The awesome thing about this book is that these tips and tricks - and many more! - are all compiled in this beautiful, concise, and easy to read book! This was a much-needed refresher for me to remember my why and to focus on living with less so I can stay home with my kids. But this book is not just for stay at home moms. This book has something for everyone, so no matter what season of life you are in, there are great tips to help you live frugally, save money and reach your financial goals!

This book is, in one word, amazing. It'a packed full of practical, realistic ways to save money and make staying home financially possible in all areas of life. A brilliant resource of financial stewardship, it also offers encouragement for the hearts of moms desiring to stay home with their kids. Erin is like the friend I wish I'd had mentoring and cheering me on when I started staying home with my kids. She gets it because she's lived it, too! She braves financial topics with grace and a conversational tone that's totally approachable and unintimidating. Her money-saving tips and action steps are presented in a way that will leave you saying "I can do this!" Let's be really honest for a second. When you're staying home with your kids, there are rarely large chunks of time to sit down and devour lengthy dissertations or essays. This book is broken down into bite-sized chunks that makes it possible to read bits here and there while still getting the full benefit. You know an author absolutely gets the mom life when they include a ribbon book mark! The edition itself is beautiful. It feels like a little luxury without a hefty price tag. What better way to tell a friend or loved one "I'm cheering for you!" than with this beautiful book as a gift? Note: I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.
