Joni Peterson is catapulted through time into a world both familiar and strange. Finding herself in Victorian England, she discovers love in the most unexpected placeat the feet of the man whose carriage knocked her down. Lord Sebastian Tyler needs to remarry, but preferably not to a woman of his mother's choosing. The woman his carriage runs over both irritates and fascinates him, but could she be the answer to his prayers? Will the arrow of love find them before time runs out and history rights itself?
Clare Revell lives in a small town in England with her husband, whom she married in 1992, and her three children. Writing from a early childhood and encouraged by her teachers, she graduated from rewriting fairy stories through fanfiction to using her own original characters and enjoys writing an eclectic mix of romance, crime fiction and children's stories. When she's not writing, she's reading, sewing, keeping house or doing the many piles of laundry her children manage to make. She has been a Christian for more than half her life. She goes to Carey Baptist Church, where she is one of three registrars.

God inspired RomanticAge: 25-34Gender: female4 Stars Out Of 5Quite a suprise read!February 1, 2012God inspired RomanticAge: 25-34Gender: femaleQuality: 4Value: 5Meets Expectations: 4I didn't have high expectations going into this book. The story is really simple. Joni (prenounced Johnny) is a young woman walking down a street somewhere in modern day England, who suddenly get's 'zapped' into another time. In other words she travels trough time. There she meets Lord Sebastian Tyler. After being confused for quite some time she begans to figure out that she has traveled trough time, and she has to find a way to get back to her own time.
I'm a real fan of time travel stories. I thought this book was nicely written for a novella. Surtain things were not explained really well (like the time travel aspect). When the main character traveled trough time, I also missed some sort exploration of the surroundings, the culture, the habits of that particular time. There's no real interaction between other characters of the 'other time' and Joni, except for the sister, mother and maid of Lord Tyler. If Joni had explored her surroundings a bit more that would have made the story even better.
But again i really enjoyed this light read, i would definately recommend this book to friends and family, loved it!
