I wanted my kids to understand the importance of the Civil War and appreciate the significance of the battlefields, rather than just another tourist stop. This was more than accomplished. Not only did the kids learn and enjoy the study, but I also did right along with them. Almost a year later the kids still remember and talk about what they learned as we tour battlefields. They would like to end this school year the same way, with another Time Travelers study. This is well worth the time and effort that you will put into teaching your kids. I can't wait to dive into another one!
