A powerful "Must Read" for any believer who has lost a loved one - especially a child. Levi Lusko walks through the devastating valley of losing a child with reality, faith and encouragement. Highly, highly recommend this book! This book is also very applicable for any loss, and gives a Christian perspective of keeping God's love for us in the forefront of our minds and using all things for His ultimate glory. I keep one on hand as a gift when an untimely need arises.

I was lent this book by a friend and found it so informative, I decided to purchase it to keep in my library. The pain this family faced was horrendous and yet, they don't get stuck in the grieving process. Life is full of hard stuff and losses, but the hope offered in this book in relationship with the LORD, lifts and encourages.

This book is a must read. I have yet to lose a loved one to death, but when my parents divorced and my mom and two younger siblings moved thousands of miles away, I felt like I lost my best friends. This book really helps you to understand he grieving process and how much God loves us. You always have to remember that for those who are saved we have a far greater home than we can possibly fathom. In death there is tremendous pain but also abundant joy.

My son who was five went home to heaven after being sick a month with an unexpected, rare, nasty autoimmune disorder. We were nine months into the grieving process when my friend gave me this book. It has been very helpful to have some of the same emotions put into words that I haven't be able to verbalize. The book walks you through the intense, raw periods that come with grieving and also how to move beyond the grief and use the experience for good and for God's glory. I am planning on buying some copies to hand out to people who are going through great loss and to those who want to understand a little the intense emotions that follow great loss.
