What will you do when the unthinkable happens?
Her parents called her Lenya Lion because of her ferocious personality and hair that had been wild and mane-like since birth. But they never expected that, five days before Christmas, their five-year-old daughter would suddenly go to heaven after an asthma attack. How do you walk out of the ER without your daughter?
More a manifesto for high-octane living than a manual for grieving, Through the Eyes of a Lion will help you turn your journey into a "roar story" by guiding you to
- look past what you can see with the naked eye
- survive Saturdaythe space between promise and fulfillment
- let God turn your pain into a microphone
- cue the eagle and run toward the roar
Whether youre currently facing adversity or want to prepare yourself for inevitable hardship, its time to look at the adventure of your life through Jesus eyesthe eyes of a Lion.

Sue W5 Stars Out Of 5A "Must Read" for grieving parents.March 23, 2017Sue WQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5A powerful "Must Read" for any believer who has lost a loved one - especially a child. Levi Lusko walks through the devastating valley of losing a child with reality, faith and encouragement. Highly, highly recommend this book! This book is also very applicable for any loss, and gives a Christian perspective of keeping God's love for us in the forefront of our minds and using all things for His ultimate glory. I keep one on hand as a gift when an untimely need arises.

The pain this family faced was horrendous and yet, they don't get stuck in the grieving process. Life is full of hard stuff and losses, but the hope offered in this book in relationship with the LORD, lifts and encourages.
Adam5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent BookMarch 24, 2016AdamQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5This book is a must read. I have yet to lose a loved one to death, but when my parents divorced and my mom and two younger siblings moved thousands of miles away, I felt like I lost my best friends. This book really helps you to understand he grieving process and how much God loves us. You always have to remember that for those who are saved we have a far greater home than we can possibly fathom. In death there is tremendous pain but also abundant joy.
Trace's Mom5 Stars Out Of 5Through the Eyes of a LionFebruary 22, 2016Trace's MomQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5My son who was five went home to heaven after being sick a month with an unexpected, rare, nasty autoimmune disorder. We were nine months into the grieving process when my friend gave me this book. It has been very helpful to have some of the same emotions put into words that I haven't be able to verbalize. The book walks you through the intense, raw periods that come with grieving and also how to move beyond the grief and use the experience for good and for God's glory. I am planning on buying some copies to hand out to people who are going through great loss and to those who want to understand a little the intense emotions that follow great loss.

Wow, what an amazing gift to receive. I would highly recommend this book to anyone suffering a loss, going thru depression, struggling thru life in general, etc. I actually went out and bought 10 copies to disperse to loved ones I knew who had suffered a loss.
