I just finished both the book & the study guide for "1000 Gifts" in a small bible study group. I loved it! Doing this study & starting my own list of gifts from God has really changed my outlook on life. God is always good & I am very blessed!
We are going through this study with a group of 14 women and finding this study to be very practical with good questions that go beyond the surface layer of conversation. We are having some very sweet dialogue, at times with tears, as we are working through the material. The advantage for us is that this is a stand alone study and there is not a requirement to read the book, excellent as it is.
Absolutely love this book! Her style of writing was more poetic than I'm used to but I'm glad I read it. It gave me a new perspective on life. That priorities can be changed for the good and life can be perceived as a gift of God. Every little thing that God has created can be an inspiration of His love and care for our lives. Thank you Ann for the challenge of writing the 1000 things that I love about my life. It really helps reveal all the blessings in my life. God Bless, Leenie
