I haven't yet got to read the actual book as I share my books with a young teen who also loves Brian's books and who was just starting that series when the book actually came in so I let him have first crack at it. But I know it will be quality reading as I have never yet read a bad book from Brian or Amanda Davis.

This book is fantastic. It has a great message. It makes you think. It is wonderful. And I received the book several days earlier than I was expecting it.

This book, as with all books by Bryan Davis, gripped my attention for the several hours it took to read. It flowed well, both with "Masters and Slayers" and the Dragons of Starlight series, and the plot becomes even more complex and suspenseful. In this book, Davis delves deeper into the minds of characters, like Marcelle and Arxad, revealing motives, thoughts, and opinions of each other.

This book is exciting and was well worth my time (and money). It definitely lived up to my expectations. If you enjoyed "Masters and Slayers", you will be pleased with this one too. Read it!
