Daniel Lacaria5 Stars Out Of 5June 26, 2009Daniel LacariaWhat a beautiful little book; 14 doctrines that are all found in the book of Romans and yet Mr. Pentecost draws most of these doctrinal studies from other places in the NT---this book would be a must read for failing ministry groups of younger Christians, as well as healthy groups of younger Christians (by younger I mean anyone who is young in the faith, and since there is such a lack of strong preaching, exposition, and teaching in most American churches, this book is great for just about anybody). It is 160 pages; full of good teaching. In fact, every Christian should own this one as a refresher and to add depth to his understanding of things like Justification, Sanctification, Predestination, Propitiation, etc. It has helped me.

Allen HayniePasadena, TXAge: 55-65Gender: Male5 Stars Out Of 5Things Which Become Sound Doctrine by J Dwight PentecostMarch 13, 2016Allen HayniePasadena, TXAge: 55-65Gender: MaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5In his book, Things Which Become Sound Doctrine, J. Dwight Pentecost presents fourteen key biblical doctrines and explains them in practical, everyday terms that make understanding doctrine easy. With each key doctrine the author collects all the passages throughout the Bible and develops that teaching with depth, accuracy and detailed attention. He provides a clear and researched teaching on each of the given doctrinal terms and he uses very practical illustrations to help the reader. Many Christians fall short of Gods standard in their daily life because they have not been taught the basic principles of the Word of God. Believers must be engaged in the transforming and renewing of their mind and begin to discover the principles of the Word of God in order that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine. This book is a great place to start renewing your mind and it is edifying to the soul.
