I bought this book for my nephew who loves to learn. His mother recently told me that he's been asking about how everything works. I saw this book and thought it would be perfect for him. It's written for a 7-12 year old child but I loved it too. It covers so many different areas...machines, biology, technology to robots. It's a great book!
