Brooksyne Weber5 Stars Out Of 5They Walked With GodJanuary 14, 2023Brooksyne WeberQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Max Lucado, as usual, gets your attention and keeps it in his prolific style of writing. He colorizes the black and white of Scripture with his descriptive and colorful character sketches of Bible folks we've known about all our life. In doing so he does add to Scripture but only to bring the characters more to life and before each sketch he draws us to the pertinent Bible passage so that we can see that which is written and that which he has added. I am reading it to my husband as we travel in our car and it always makes for great discussion to follow.

Gardenman465 Stars Out Of 5Great reag for private study or small groupJuly 18, 2022Gardenman46Max Lucado has a great sense of writing. His words flow on to the pages in a heartfelt and caring manner. He touches my soul in everything he writes. In this book he selects several characters in the Bible, tells their story, then brings it in with practical applications. Each chapter is brief (which I like), yet is powerful in the telling. I highly recommend this book.
