My family was SOO blessed to see this book come out! We are HUGE fans of ALL of the Prince Warrior books and find great enjoyment reading them aloud, together as a family. The Winter War is no exception. We dove right in and picked up the characters like being reunited with friends. What a journey this book took us through. There are so many things that we can face in our lives and reading fiction that encourages and strengthens our walk with the Lord through it is a monumental advantage. "We have all that we need." I pray these authors are led by the Lord to write more. I believe this type of writing is severely missing in children and young adult literature and would love to see more of it in the future for the generations and for the Kingdom.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

    Spiritual Warfare for Teens
    November 10, 2018

This is the sequel to the Prince Warriors Series. I have not read the other books, but this one is very interesting. It takes regular teens dealing with problems of regular life and they become prince warriors whenever they are called to go to Ahoratos to fight battles against the enemy in spiritual warfare. In Ahoratos they still battle selfishness and fear and other sins while fighting the enemy. I don't understand all the symbolism and am not sure it is meant to be something, such as the seeds which become shields, who Ruwach is supposed to be, etc. Maybe if I read the previous books I would understand more.

If you know a teen who likes battles and fantasy about spiritual warfare this is a good book to recommend. The challenges of the teens' everyday lives keep you reading too. It is a very interesting book and I enjoyed reading it.

(Please Note: Although this book was provided to me for review by B&H and Lifeway, the opinions expressed are my own.)
