This is an excellent cookbook with great recipes. Most Christians fail to realize that the kosher dietary guidelines are still applicable to our lives today; if people are wise, they will adhere to them as closely as possible. Being a nurse and a crypto-Jew, the thought of ingesting pork tapeworms, etc. does not especially appeal to me, hence I adopted a kosher diet decades ago and am healthier and younger-looking than the vast majority of people my age, rarely ever gettting sick and recovering quickly when I do happen to catch a cold. This (and the companion book, What Would Jesus Eat --which explains the rationale for a biblical diet) would make a superb addition to anyone's personal library--an excellent gift for the holidays, bridal showers, weddings, etc.
