Tell us a little about yourself. I am a first and foremost a redeemed Christian. I am a retired Los Angles Police Captain and my career lasted over three decades. I am also a small business owner, martial artist and teacher.
What was your motivation behind this project? What motivated me to write this book was that I truly believe that we are living in the season of the end times, that the world as we knew it has changed, and will become increasingly dangerous. I believe as Christians God has equipped us to be prepared for this season, and that many of us will be increasingly confronted by both spiritual and physical adversaries and that we must be prepared for those battles.
What do you hope folks will gain from this project? I hope that Christian readers will see that Scripture not only allows us to defend ourselves against the modern day threats that are terrorizing our world, but it requires that we be both spiritually and physically equipped to do battle. I hope that non-Christian readers will see that their spiritual survival, through the work on the cross, is more important than their physical survival. Finally, we need to remember that there is hope because God is omnipotent and the battle has already been won by Jesus death and resurrection.
How were you personally impacted by working on this project? Of course and is so many ways. The entire process caused me to re-examine myself and hold my life up to the Word of God, seek and offer forgiveness, and to rejoice for the soon return of Jesus.
