Steven CohnCAROL STREAM ILL.Age: 45-54Gender: male5 Stars Out Of 5June 15, 2010Steven CohnCAROL STREAM ILL.Age: 45-54Gender: maleYES, I VAGUELY REMEMBER THE WALTONS ON TV AS I WAS TEN YR OLD WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT. MY PARENTS MAY HAVE STARTED WATCHING BUT BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT 'RELIGIOUS' THEY STOPPED WATCHING IN THOSE DAYS. ANYWAYS, I HAVE MY OWN FAMILY AND WE ARE BELIEVERS, WHO WANT HIGH QUALITY FAMILY FRIENDLY PROGRAMMING TO WATCH AS WE HAVE NO CABLE TV OR OTHERWISE AS OF ONE YEAR AGO. THERE ARE CHRISTIAN PROGRAMMING I MISS NOT HAVING ANY TV CHANNELS. THE WALTONS WAS A RARE TV SERIES THAT GAVE WHOLESOME ENTERTAINMENT. MOST TV SERIES FROM THE 1970'S WERE FOR THE MOST PART 'FAMILY FRIENDLY" NEED I TALK ABOUT TV IN THE LAST TWENTY TO THIRTY YEARS? VERY SATISFIED! SO ARE MY WIFE AND 14YR DAUGHTER 12 YR SON
Q: Quality of the Walton DVD I have read a few reviews that said the quality of the Waltons DVD was not that good. Could you comment?
These DVDs have not been digitally remastered so are in their originally recorded format. If you are watching it on a larger screen it will appear grainy.
