This was such a great read, your going to love Ashlyn, well, there are a lot of great characters here.

The author gives us a young women who really wants to be married and have a family, she has had many losses in her life, and now inheriting her aunt's toy store, has been given a new start.

Enter Brody Tanner and his daughter Ashlyn into the toy store, and now we have attraction!

We are given some sweet romance, some drama, beach town life, a delightful little girl, and decisions that can change their lives!

My main criticism, is the publisher is Thomas Nelson, but this is a clean read, not Christian.

I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Thomas Nelson, and was not required to give a positive review.

Coral Cove is the ideal place to begin anew with a quaint town, a beautiful ocean coastline, and amazing townsfolks. This is exactly what romantic author, Maya Reynolds, needs after her broken engagement and loss of her dear great-aunt. Suffering from writers block and lacking inspiration, I was happy to see that Ashlyn decided to keep the toy store in town going. That seems like it would be so much fun!

The story was made complete and heartwarming with the sweet, adorable, Ashlyn and her amazing dad, local veterinarian, Brody Tanner. Both Maya and Brody are afraid of taking a chance and getting hurt, but taking small steps and trusting one another has a way of breaking down walls. I enjoyed reading their story because they deserved happiness.

I recommend reading this book if you like Christian romance stories. It in encouraging and uplifting. I was given an advanced electronic copy of this book from NetGalley and the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review; all opinions are my own.

This book reminded me of a Hallmark movie. It was also very descriptive and easy to feel like you were right there in Coral Cove. It was a light sweet romance - perfect for summertime reading.

I liked how Maya wanted to continue the legacy of her great aunt by running the toy store she inherited from her and making it a success. I also enjoyed the animals in the story, especially Tink and how Gayle reacted to her. Eight-year-old Ashlyn is a great character in this book.

I thought the relationship between Maya and Brody was well-paced and there was a twist at the end that I didn't see coming.

My favorite part of this book is the storyline between Maya and the situation with her father. It was written perfectly for this book.

If you like sweet, contemporary romance, I recommend this book.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I've enjoyed a lot of Amy Clipston's Amish fiction, so I was excited to read The View from Coral Cove. This novel is a contemporary romance set in the beautiful seaside town of Coral Cove, North Carolina. Author Maya Reynolds has just been abruptly dumped by her fianc when she inherits her late aunt's toy store in Coral Cove. Still grieving, Maya soon finds herself neck-deep in getting the floundering store out of the red and struggling with inspiration for her past-due novel. When a kitten wanders into her store during an adoption event, Maya meets local vet Brody Tanner and his precocious eight-year-old daughter, Ashlyn. The three quickly form a bond, and work together to get The Toy Chest back on its feet. But they just might find more than friendship.

I loved the characters in this story! Maya and Brody made a fantastic couple (I was rooting for them from the very first moment they met), and Ashlyn was such a fun character. The plot was easy to follow and enjoyable to read, while the characters remained relatable. I read this one as quickly as possible--I just couldn't put it down!

If you enjoy contemporary romance, I'd recommend giving The View from Coral Cove a try.

The View from Coral Cove, by Amy Clipston, graciously welcomes the reader into a relevant story that is thoughtful and meaningful. Authentic, vulnerable, and full of heart, this novel holds a satisfying blend of drama, emotion, and sweet romance. As a contemporary story of friendship, family, new beginnings, and unexpected possibilities, this book is genuinely touching.

A charming coastal community in a small town in North Carolina offers the perfect backdrop for a story of love, loss, and hope. Beautiful beaches and quaint shops form the settings for many engaging scenes. While a small toy store, a local cat rescue facility, and a stunning beach house add plenty of opportunities for imaginative, thoughtful story development.

With likable characters, an engaging plot, and important themes, this book is quite special. The characters are authentic and compelling. Though they face heartache and uncertainty, they dare to take risks and share their vulnerabilities. They learn the value of honesty and trust in the pursuit of their hearts desires. With perseverance and courage, they work to overcome hurt and rejection in order to find healing and wholeness. Page after page, this novel offers an original story that purposefully explores friendship, family, faith, and commitment. The story becomes particularly stirring as these themes are explored throughout the book.

Ms. Clipston never fails to write stories that are appealing and truly entertaining. The View from Coral Cove is certainly enjoyable. It is a novel that is worthwhile and uplifting. I happily recommend it.

*I was given a copy of this book by the author. A review was not required. The review I have written is voluntary and contains opinions that are entirely my own.
