    Tell us a little about yourself.  RK Miedema is a retired pastor and counselor and formerly a Nuclear Engineer who spent decades teaching Biblical principles and theology to all age groups in a variety of settings.

    What was your motivation behind this project?  After years of teaching, it became apparent that most believers have a limited and fractured understanding of the Old Testament and how important it is to the understanding of Christ's incarnation, ministry and atoning sacrifice for mankind. This fractured understanding of Old Testament history prevents believers from defending and explaining the work of Christ in the Old Testament.

    What do you hope folks will gain from this project?  The Transparent Bible is written and organized in a way to help believers witness to the skeptics in their lives and to strengthen their own faith in the God of the Old Testament. Let's face it, most criticisms of the Christian faith are directed at the God of the Old Testament whom skeptics see as wrathful and arbitrary. We need to represent him as he is, longsuffering, committed, and always working for our well being.
