The Student Leadership Challenge: Student Workbook and Personal Leadership Journal will teach students to take the initiative and make a difference in the world! Student leaders will learn to mobilize others to want to make things happen in their organization, and discover how to transform values in actions, visions into reality, obstacles into innovation, and risks into rewards.
Based on the "Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership" model, this workbook turns the abstract concept of leadership into easy-to-follow practices and behavior. A "Student Leadership Practices Inventory" is included to help students use the result to support their ongoing leadership development; additional modules explore each of the Five Practices and include action components, activities, and examples. The last module is the personal leadership journal, and is designed to support students as they provide leadership and walk through taking deliberate action, reflecting on and learning from the outcome of their decisions, and taking action again.
