CheeseheadDouglassville, PAAge: 45-54Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5August 4, 2012CheeseheadDouglassville, PAAge: 45-54Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The name certainly fit this story. Wow the struggles that Hannah and Timothy suffered through. Timothy with his mother-in-law being in their lives so much in Pennsylvania. The struggle Hannah had with leaving her family to go to Kentucky. The struggles Hannah and Timothy faced in their marriage was so unlike most Amish marriages we have read about in Wanda's books. So many emotions were experienced while reading this story. How Hannah lost her faith in God because of her daughter's death and how she lost her faith in her husband. Their daughter's death tore them apart and later restored their faiths. I experienced every emotion while reading this story.
Wanda has a way of making me feel as if she reached out from the book and pulled me right into the story. Her fantastic writing always makes me feel like I am right there with the characters. Thank you for making every story so very real.

IreneUnited States4 Stars Out Of 5Overall I enjoyed the storyJuly 17, 2012IreneUnited StatesQuality: 4Value: 4Meets Expectations: 4This is the third book in the Kentucky Brothers series. This book mostly follows Timothy Fisher and his wife Hannah. You observe their relationship struggles and see how they grow closer to the Lord and each other. There are also many other characters in the book. Each character is developed well and the book concludes all the stories it presents.
Overall I enjoyed the book. I do think you need to read the other books in the series to enjoy this book to the fullest. There are characters introduced in the other books that play important parts in this book. That said this was not my favorite in the series. I do think the author is a great writer but this particular book just fell flat for me and that is why I only gave it 4/5 stars.
I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.
