This book really tells the Easter Story from a different angle and explains the legend of how the Robin got his red chest. I love the sweetness of the story, and the illustrations really just make this book that much better. If you are looking for a different but religious book about Easter check out The Story of The Easter Robin.
thank you zondervan for allowing us to review this book
Michele Houghton4 Stars Out Of 5April 2, 2010Michele HoughtonIt was too intense of a story for our sensitive two year old..who says "there is the bird with the blood of Jesus on him" when she sees a robin and starts to cry! Story and pictures maybe more appropriate for six year olds and older.
