    Do the study...see the movie...

This has to be by far the best, most in depth couples Bible study I've ever had the pleasure to participate in. The movie of the same name along with this Bible study is a tool the Lord has used to completely revolutionize our marriage. Our 10 year wedding anniversary is rapidly approaching and our marriage was not solid as it was not built on the Lord because we were not true believers when we married. As a result, our marriage has sustained multiple blows leaving us broken, bruised, and scarred-ultimately culminating in scarce conversation and no intimacy whatsoever between us in too long a time and in self preservation by being content to be discontent "til death do us part". Divorce in our minds would not be an option as we both know God hates divorce because it obliterates His beautiful picture of His beloved son and his beloved bride. Yet what we had settled for was bringing about the same result. God began to align feelings and circumstances so that I felt the desire to break out of the rut we currently found ourselves in. We purchased the study and set out to review the material. The movie clips and subject matter so piqued our interest that we drove 4 hrs. and 40 minutes round trip to view this movie as it was the closest theatre location to our area. It was worth every mile-every minute of drive time. By the Lord's grace, we hope to purchase the DVD and watch this every anniversary we have in the years to come largely due to the theme of rebuilding on Christ-the solid Rock. Do your marriage a favor-watch the movie now playing at select theatres and then begin the study. It will not only rebuild and fortify your marriage with your spouse but also your heavenly Bridegroom. This movie has climbed into my number one movie spot and it is not even receiving the publicity it deserves. Go to the fandango.com site, scroll down, and search for "The Song". You will see the reviews...4 1/2 stars and even the critics are raving over it. A family member of a very famous TV series posted a comment as did the owner of a well known restaurant chain. I read all the fandango reviews-all but three were rated with four and five stars (most being rated with five) As for the three negative(one sounds like an angry atheist, one didn't give it a chance or expected it to be closer to a movie about the actual of events of the Biblical Solomon-not a retelling, and one mentioned critics are saying it is a story which has been told before. (They couldn't put down the acting, screenplay, story line, dialogue, settings...all they could say is it's a story which has been told before-unbelievable) That didn't even need to be said because it doesn't claim to be something new and fresh. The creators of the movie want viewers to know it's a retelling of the life of Solomon. However, which story isn't a retelling of the same story lines we've read and watched and loved for years? The only difference is the others don't claim to be a representation of another narrative. This one does with the intent to parallel the life of Solomon because the context of his exploration into all things in life to come to the conclusion of all being vanity without the Lord is a message of Truth for everyone even to this current day and time. As Christians, we should watch it, rate and review it online, and tell everyone we know to go see it. Then we absolutely must do the accompanying study. We must support it. We are the only ones who will. We don't get Christian movies of this quality every day. I'm not sure I've ever seen one of this quality-ever. After viewing it myself, it is my honest humble opinion that every married couple in the world should see it as well as any single who thinks they might appreciate a spouse in the future. Marriages are so desperate for this and its message could change lives and homes and definitely needs to get out. Please do this for your children and grandchildren. It could have a tremendous impact on this generation and future generations. I believe that with all my heart. We must "Awaken love..."
