Henry, Jessie, Violet, and Benny have all joined a soccer league and are all playing on the same team. Having never played before, the Aldens know that it's important to try their best and have fun---and that winning isn't always everything. But somebody else doesn't seem to agree and strange things start happening. Is someone trying to sabotage their team? The Boxcar Children are ready to solve this mystery!
Someone is causing trouble for the Boxcar Chidren's soccer league.
Gertrude Chandler Warner was born in 1890 in Putnam, Connecticut, where she taught school and wrote The Boxcar Children because she had often imagined how delightful it would be to live in a caboose or freight car. Encouraged by the book's success, she went on to write eighteen more stories about the Alden children.
