This review was written for The Shack.
I felt that God was not glorified in this book. God is holy and I did not feel that came across in this book.

God is not a woman. Wow, how can you read this and think it's okay. People just want to feel good and there is nothing wrong with that, but lets not distort the holiness of God in the process. You know something is not right when all my friends that are not believers told me this book was wonderful. That's when I decided to read it and was very disturbed by it's contents. Sad.

An excellent book that needs at least two readings. You read the first time to see what happens and the second time to get the full meaning of the lessons. Good reading even if you don't want to have to think things through.

I had heard about this book shortly after it came out in bookstores, but I never bought it until recently. What an amazing and unique perspective of Faith in God, learning to forgive, and opening your mind to a different perspective of what God may look like. I highly recommend this book for anyone who may be dealing with a difficult situation of trying to forgive. I will be keeping this on my reading list for years to come.
