some parts were confusing. next time i read it i plan to have study guide or participate in study group. enemy tries to distract and tempt us to sin with anxiety, omitting certain information, encourage us to seek strength from within, end goal is to have soul in hell, use religious people for his evil work. it was funny and interesting to get an idea of how enemy works. he still talked about Gods love in some of his letters. one lie is humans do not believe the enemy exists

This is a book I'm sure I will read over and over. The insight of C. S. Lewis is genuine, challenging and changing his reader through the letters from Screwtape. I highly recommend this book!

I think the book is good, but I can't say it for sure because I stopped reading it because the deckled edges are frustrating. I turn the page and two or three pages get stuck together, so I have to go back and check where I stopped. I decided I might as well read other books with normal edges.

It's different to say the least. Not a book you can wiz through. Unless you speak old English.

Great concept. Have to read it slower to catch everything he is saying.

Not a bad book. Different then what I'd normally read.
