The Road to Mercy

Tragedy, love, and secrets meet on a journey of faith. The Road to Mercy opens with Josh Harrison, a contemporary Christian singer, and his wife, Bethany, expecting their first child. Then a rupture in Beth's carotid artery puts her life in danger. Her doctor, Ben Abrams, urges her to end the pregnancy to save herself. Beth and Josh choose differently. Stepping out on faith, they decide to carry the baby to term. The months that follow test everything. Josh wrestles with his faith. Beth carries a secret that could break their marriage, and she uncovers a decades-old connection to Dr. Abrams that could change his life. It is a story about faith under pressure, forgiveness, healing, and the worth of a human life, told through one family's hardest season. Kathy Harris came to fiction by way of a long career in the Nashville music industry. The Road to Mercy is written for readers and book groups who love stories of faith, redemption, and hope held onto through difficult times.
