DB5 Stars Out Of 5Excellent Story!July 22, 2024DBQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I really enjoyed this first book in the new series and eagerly await the next book's release. A very well written adventure in an Amish family's struggles with loss, relationships, healing, and restored faith. The suspense held my interest from beginning to end and the characters and their struggles held the story together very well.
I received a complementary copy of this book from Barbour Publishing and was not obligated to write a review, but I have because I enjoyed reading this book very much and I believe you will, too. -
CJ5 Stars Out Of 5Great BookOctober 2, 2024CJQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5The 1st Book in the New Series called, "A Mifflin County Mystery", is a great story to read!
Wanda E. Brunstetter has done an amazing job roping, us readers, into this series!
Once you start reading the book, you won't be able to stop.
This story is based on the Petersheim family in Belleville, PA. The family is distraught & concerned, because their daughter and sister, Rosa, is missing. Norman, the oldest brother of Rosa, has taken her disappearance hard. He feels responsible for her missing. He dedicates all his time and energy into trying to find her. Because of his dedication for his sister, his relationship with his girlfriend is suffering.
He feels like he needs to find her before all else.
However, he realizes he can't have it both ways, or can he?
Who all is suffering from this ordeal? What does Norman, and his mom think about the investigation? What do they think about Rosa's friends? Is everyone telling the truth, or is someone hiding something?
To find answers to these questions, you can grab your copy in August. This is great story!
**I received an ARC of this story, and the words & rating of this Review, are all my own**
