After reading Chapter 6, I could not finish this book. The author indicated that although science was made possible by Christianity, science and theology should be kept separate to avoid all the creation/evolution debates that are prevalent today. Oh really, and just how do you do that? In science we are studying everything God has created. Although many scientists do try to remove God from science, the basic question always remains: how can creation happen without a creator? How can something come from nothing? The price of inclusiveness in my opinion is a watered-down "Christianity" that bows at the altar of popular opinion and rests on a foundation of shifting theology without the bedrock of sound doctrine.

This book covers all the different sides of the argument quite well. Ending up with a good conservative answer to the same.

He does such a good job arguing the liberal and paigen side that as I was reading it I wondered what side the auther was on until the end of each chapter.

A book every Christian should read. Brings one up to date on a lot of the negative press and lies being told about the Bible, Christianity and how civilization developed. Points out inconsistencies, rumors, and outright lies used as "fact" by the liberal press, atheistic authors and those who seek to undermine the truth of the Bible and it's incredible impact on history. It's a quick read, entertaining and eye opening. I highly recommend it.
