This is a wonderful book. It will encourage you in your own walk with the Lord, and teach you, by example, how to battle the unseen forces. Christian's walk was not an easy one, and neither is ours. However, with perseverance...comes victory. It is only in the LORD's strength, that any of us will overcome.

The Pilgrim's Progress is very nicely hardbound, with gilt on the covers, for a price that beats most paperbacks of the same dimensions. The publisher included an informative preface about the author and the circumstances of the book's writing and original publication, and the more obscure words in the text have succinct and unobtrusive inline explanations following in square brackets. The typeface used is a legible classic serif that includes a real italic font (not obliqued roman like many modern computer-typeset books). The paper is bright and of a good weight. It's a fine and readable addition to my library.

Not only is this a story for all ages, this edition offers great value in a nicely bound book.

I had heard of this book when I was young. I think I was supposed to have read it as a kid but never did. It has the old English poetry to it and is very biblical. Though it was written 400 years ago it is still very pertinent for today, similar to the bible. Amazing!!

One of the best books other than the Bible. Its hard to follow but going to read it again when I finish.
